Our client, a respected Northampton-based charity supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse, is looking for a proactive and compassionate Administrator to join their friendly team on a temporary to permanent basis.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be at the heart of the organisation, providing essential administrative support that helps vital services continue to change lives.The Role
You’ll provide day-to-day administrative support across the organisation, including:
- General office administration
- Answering telephones and welcoming visitors
- Preparing letters, documents and meeting minutes
- Maintaining HR records, holiday and sickness records
- Processing invoices, expenses, payroll and purchase orders
- Supporting finance administration (Xero experience desirable)
- Organising meetings, training rooms and refreshments
- Maintaining stationery supplies and office systems
- Assisting with policy updates and compliance documentation
- Supporting the wider management team with ad hoc projects.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced within an administration role
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Friendly, professional and confident on the telephone
- Experienced in finance administration and payroll (Xero would be an advantage)
- Compassionate, discreet and able to handle confidential information with integrity
- Flexible, proactive and happy to turn their hand to a variety of tasks.
