Manager – Refuge Services

Birmingham | 35 hours per week | £37,275 per annum

Our Client is looking for an experienced Refuge Manager to lead our refuge services, supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse to rebuild their lives in a safe, trauma-informed environment.

This is a rewarding leadership role where you’ll manage refuge operations, inspire and develop a dedicated team, build strong partnerships and ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience managing and leading teams
  • Project or service management experience
  • Experience working with vulnerable people or those with complex needs
  • Excellent communication, organisational and report-writing skills
  • A relevant Level 4 qualification (or above) in Management or a related subject
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and develop our refuge teams
  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of refuge services
  • Ensure safeguarding, quality and compliance standards are met
  • Manage performance, budgets and reporting
  • Work closely with the CEO to drive service excellence and positive outcomes for survivors.
