Location: Northampton, with potential work in other areas of the county and country.
Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible working arrangements available).
Salary: Competitive (based on experience).

We are seeking a Trainer to join our team, supporting the development and delivery of training programs that equip staff, volunteers, and external clients with the knowledge and skills to address domestic abuse effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deliver, and update core training programs for internal and external audiences in collaboration with the Head of Culture, Diversity, and Inclusion.
  • Assist in the creation of bespoke training packages and online learning modules.
  • Facilitate groupwork training sessions using trauma-informed approaches.
  • Maintain up-to-date training materials and support the collection of data and reports for program evaluation.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of welcome, recovery, and hope within the organisation.
  • Compile reports to support funding applications, marketing strategies, and feedback for stakeholders.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Qualification in Training for Trainers and expertise in training delivery.
  • Understanding of domestic abuse, its impact on victims and their children, and related safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic and educational models for supporting survivors.
  • Proven group facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, computer literacy (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and organisational skills.
  • Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle during working hours.
